From now until the end of November, Petra is playing 24/7 on Around the World Radio. Click here:

Quite a fitting tribute to our boys!

Wow, they really do cover everything. Right now Get Back to the Bible is on. They even played Onward Christian Soldiers and that Rock Block super mix song thingy or maxi-single or whatever they call it. I haven't heard anything from CITAS yet, but I haven't been listening long. I'm sure it'll be represented soon.
Now if they play Who Do You Listen To I'll be REALLY impressed.

Well, they're playing one of the 'lost' WWT tracks now: (Couldn't Find Love) Without You. And they played I Don't Wanna Fall Away From You. And even Our Turn Now. They've done their homework!

No problem - you can go ahead and scoop me, Rockie.
Bri, they're going to play EVERYTHING - including the new Farewell album on Nov. 23 - if Inpop/management sends it to them on time.
Be impressed. Be very impressed.
(That reminds me - I gotta get them copies of John's solo music.)

I was listening to the all Petra broadcast on all the world radio, and a song started playing that I knew, but it wasn't Petra. It was Geoff Moore and the Distance with A Place to Stand off of the abum by the same name. Now why wuold they play that? I actually know the answer. John sang back up vocals on that song. I also believe that sometime around that time Geoff Moore toured with Petra. I remember when I first became a Christian and learned about Petra, some friends of mine telling me they had seen Geoff Moore in concert on tour with Petra.

This is true I saw them twice that year and the first time Geoff Moore was with them, man I really remeber them being really LOUD! And Why should the devil have all the good music. They were in my on opinion best then they rocked, but Petra what can I say. I also saw them again that year, the concert at which Ronny Cates first played at.

This morning I was thinking that if they played a Geoff Moor song in which John sang back ups to, they could possibly play One Bad Pig's Judas Kiss. Bob played some guitar for that one. Has anyone heard this one played? One Bad Pig! What a fun group.

That guitar solo is Bob Hartman, too.

On the tour with Josh McDowell Petra played that version of Judas' Kiss, it was awesome!

They've done their homework!
Truth be told, we have to give credit where credit is due:
It was our very own
Michael who did his homework.
He compiled this whole thing, including those rare songs, converted it to mp3 and gave it to Around the World Radio two years ago when they first did all-Petra programming.

Better give Josh credit for digitizing those missing tracks, too... I think I downloaded them from Petra Rocks My World.
I haven't been able to listen to the station since Saturday afternoon. Are they off the air, or am I clicking the wrong link?
