Petra23 stated "the hammer...april 74" that was a clairifcation to Pethead1's question about the date of 714. Probably not an attempt to get off topic!

I was 11 and in 6th grade. Those were the days. :D My favorite shows were Emergency! and Adam 12 and I loved the Beatles and the Beach Boys. That was when I first discovered Christian music too, the first Christian band I ever listened to was Second Chapter of Acts.

I celebrated my first birthday, and my second Easter and Christmas, and I was still sibling-free... And probably spent most of my time screaming to get out of my crib!

Post by js3971 » Thu Nov 10, 2005 3:54 pm

and I remember, uh, well I remember nothing from that year. I guess it was a good year to turn 1, since I made it to 2 the next year.

The infamous Munich Olympics were held.

Bangladesh was formed out of battle.

The first cell phone call was made.

Remember that film Alive? The actual crash occured in 1972.

The Apollo program ended.

The United Church in the UK was formed-if they are anything like the United Church of Canada, that would have been a sad day.

There ya get.

Wow, I didn't know cell phones were around since 1972! I thought the first ones were from 1983 or so.

I bet that 1972 cell phone was as big and heavy as a gallon of milk, eh?
