Kiss changed the lyrics of the original Argent track as well. Petra recorded itseveral times before KISS ever recorded it. I know KISS's version is on the Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey soundtrack.

hmm..I thought that kiss recorded argents(sp) original recording...there goes to assuming..lol

I'm almost embarrassed to admit I know this, but KISS changed some of the lyrics as a tribute to or reference to their drummer (Eric Carr) losing battle with cancer.
