Petra Tribute bands

Post by crossways » Mon Dec 12, 2005 7:13 pm

Are there any Petra tribute bands? The other thread about removing the vocals from the cd got me wondering.

Now I'm talking tribute bands - bands that play ONLY Petra material, not bands that do Petra covers.

If some of you guys were interested I'd be down with doing a one-off show somewhere...It would be fun I think.

Petra Tribute band

I'm in for the vocals, I have the drummer (he doesn't know the music though) I live in Clinton Iowa three hours from Madison Wis. and Chicago. Someone could learn the guitar tracks and I could get my friend Dana to learn the drums. If someone could play the bass that would free me up alot easier. I am not a bass player, but I can do it kind of. It would not be a true Petra Tribute without a true bass player because on some songs I would not be able to play everything correctly but could fake it. J&H would be no problem though. I almost auditioned for a Petra tribute band in the UK for Greg X Volz vocals but they wanted me to fly there and do it and it just wasn't realistic for me though I was really upset about it. If you need the vox then I am in. BEAK
