That puppy's highest bid so far is already over $400, and the action goes on until the 14th. Ouch, that's a little steep for my pocketbook.

Yes, it is a Fender Squier - the model is a Bullet Special, and typically retails in the U.S. for $99.99 (the "list" price is $165.99). It also comes in a couple other colors, including "ice blue metallic."
Here is a large photograph of the ice blue metallic model:

Additionally, here are a few links to view the guitar and its specifications:

I am really suprised it would go that high. You can buy one of the "33 year anniversary" models from Bob himself for less (and it's a MUCH better guitar). And I think he will autograph it before he sends it.
Mine has Bob's and John's sigs.

I agree. As a guitarist, I have always disliked Squier guitars - they are fine for the aspiring guitarist who is just beginning to learn the instrument, but for an intermediate or advanced guitarist, the Squier leaves much to be desired in terms of tone and quality.
I also agree that Bob Hartman's Petra 33 guitar is a much better quality instrument than the Squier guitar being auctioned on eBay. I ordered a Petra 33 myself, and was a bit skeptical of the quality at first, but was pleasantly surprised when I received it. Its appearance is awesome, with a nice tone and easy playability. All four of the guys were able to sign it too... and I spent less than half of the current eBay auction price for the Squier.

Did anyone else notice that when this auction closed there were 33 bids on it? Just thought it was rather interesting.............33
So was the final price of over $600.00.
