Ok. I have a question. Would you buy a "Christian" rock bands album, if you knew that their producer was a pre-op transexual? Would it bother you if that was Petra? How about MxPx? Jerry Flinn is just the guy that produced for MxPx. Jerry's clame to fame was an album called Superdrag. If you want to see a pick of Jerry, click on the link below, (caution, it is a "dude" in a nightie):

Where is the line in the sand for you?

Interesting pic.
It's not right, but it's not a "worse sin" than anything else. Sin is sin in God's eyes no matter who it is or what it happens to be. I don't think anyone who is blantantly sinning has a place being involved in a Christian project. If this guy doesn't claim to be a Christian, then I'd wonder why these folks are working with him.

MXPX has been clear that they are NOT in anyway a Christian band, but 3 of their members just happen to Christians, I believe I read where one of their members is a devout Jehovah Witness, but I really don't know how accurate that is.
The one question I want to ask is if an artist is a Christian, but chooses to soley do secular music is it wrong for them to employ someone of that nature on a project or maybe even tour with someone like that? Another question do you think Bob would have allowed to let Doug Punnick(King's X) do some shows with Petra in the mid 80's if he knew he was a homosexual?

MxPx was originally a 100% Christian marketed band. They have been around a long time. I remember thinking that Christian music had hit a new low when they came out.
KingsX was marketing to the Christian audience, used some Christian references, literature, etc. Doug says now that they never wanted the Christian audience, but they never turned the money away did they? Doug is full of crap if you ask me. I think that they always intended to be a cross marketed group. I think that he was touting Christianity. As to whether he has been saved/truely repented is between him and God. But according to scripture, the Holy Spirit enables us.
