Will petrarocksmyworld.com be up and running again? I've tried for several days and keep getting an error message.

Was curious about the Mark Kelley story. He was one of my favorites. Too bad he wasen't on the 'Farewell' album.

Did Mark go thru a divorce? Is this why he left the band?

All we know is what we were told second hand, by his son.

Mark did not leave for those reasons. Mark's mother passed and then his dad had health issues, so he left to take care of him. Louie said that while he weathered the storm of Petra's controversy, he tired of the touring, etc.

The divorce happened mostly before his time in Petra, as a result of his wife's decisions while Mark was gone. That's all that needs to be said. I cannot post a link, because the conversations with the meat of it were IMs. But you can do a search. He was asking for pictures of his Dad playing bass.

Yeah, but does it really matter? I'm sure by this point everyone has made up their minds whether or not Edward is Brent. The bottom line is that it is irrelevant. If Brent wants to go by Edward, then so be it. If Edward is, well, Edward, then welcome aboard. But I think we've reached the point now where 'Edward' should be able to post without it automatically spawning the 'you're really Brent' follow-up posts.

I'm not trying to sound snarky, nor am I picking on Daniel. I just tire of the whole debate because it really doesn't make a difference.

A couple of us have talked to Mark's son and neice about pictures. When Brent was in Tulsa, he was involved with the church/church sound market/concerts, etc. He had ties at the church where Mark's brother was the youth director. BTW, that church made national news when it was leveled by a tornado a few years ago.
