Born-again Sting's return to wrestling this weekend
Steve Borden, who is the man called Sting in the wrestling world, is returning to wrestling at this Sunday's (1/15) TNA PPV event "Final Resolution". Sting gave his life to the Lord a number of years ago and has been very active in various types of ministry and speaking events. I'm looking forward to his return!
This Saturday's (1/14) episode of TNA Impact on SpikeTV at 11 pm Eastern is supposed to tease his return a little bit more.
http://www.tnawrestling.com has more info about it.
There's also a good interview of Sting at http://www.wrestlepower.com/indynews.php?id=385 where he talks about a wide range of topics, including his Christian outlook on things.
Anyone else a Sting fan?

When I was a kid, my parents would go out on Saturday nights. I would stay with my grandparents and they loved wrestling. They loved the Von Erich family and hated anyone who wrestled against them. I grew up watching it. Sting was one of my favorites. I'm glad that Steve Borden found the Lord. After WCW was bought by the WWE, I've pretty much stopped watching it. There just isn't a lot of redeeming qualities in it (for me anyway.)

I happened to be standing in line at the check in gate at the Atlanta airpot and 2 rather tall muscular gentleman was standing in front of me and one turned and asked me if i knew what time it was. I answered him and then i turned to my friend and he said to me..."Do you know who that is?" and of course not knowing I said I haven't got a clue. it said it was Lex Luger and Sting of wrestling. So that was my chance at meeting someone like that by chance. Glad to hear he is now a christian.

Yes, Petra Praise, what movie are you talking about? As far as Hulk Hogan, I think the "eat your vitamins, say your prayers" thing was mostly an act. He did appear on 700 Club and other shows telling about his faith in Jesus, but I'm not sure where that faith may be now. Even when he was doing that bit, I never really enjoyed watching Hogan wrestle that much.

I'm guessing the movie clip would be from the video put out by Sting. I don't remember if it was a movie or a biography of his life, or what. It came out a few years ago.
