I'm tired of hearing people poo-poo JAH. This album definitely deserved to be nominated. You may disagree with it possibly winning, but tell me 4 or 5 Christian rock albums put out this year that were better!! Petra will probably win this thing (and deservably so), but don't blame them for the weak field they're up against. The Randolph Family Band???? Has anyone heard of them??? Oh well, just makes it easier for Petra to walk away with another Grammy.

Also, if you look at the nominations for pop-Gospel album, that field is packed with strong contenders (Third Day, Jars, MWS, Stacie Orrico). Any other year, Third Day would be in the rock category, but with their latest effort being a worship album....that probably was what threw them into the pop section. Either way GO PETRA!!!!!!

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss this band. They are not big yet, but they are certainly an up and coming big thing. Their music is kind of a fast paced blues/funk thing and they are getting some very positive attention. They even appeared on Late Night with Conan O'brian not too long ago.

Heck, I can't think of ONE rock album since the late 80s that's better than J&H! Really.
Definitely deserves an award.

Petra could win this Grammy.
The competition is not really well known apart from Audio.
GO PETRA!!!!!
Any way I still love Petra wether they win or not
P.S How do we get to see the Grammy's if we don't come from the States?
God Bless
Jason

The Grammys are usually telecast on one of the "Big 3" broadcast networks here in the U.S. (it's usually CBS). However, the Gospel music awards aren't ever presented during the televised event. They're given away at another time. So....sadly.....we'll just have to hear about Petra winning rather than see it

Don't turn your nose up at Relient K, either. Their last CD, I read somewhere, was one of the biggest sellers in CCM for a long long time.
