Anyone been in the military on here?

Just wondering if anyone has been in the military on here? My husband is the army. He is a sergant.

His unit has alot of family events going on sometimes. Like today they got this cookout at 8 am. We won't actually eat til lunch. But, there will be lots of games. And my kids will be meeting other home school kids.

I like him being in the army. I don't want to hang around the wives that live in the last housing area I live in due to they did some bad things behind their husband's back. But, I am going to hang around the Chaplain's wife.

So if you were in the military, did you enjoy it?

I am currently in the military. I am the one that asked for prayer on Monday because I may be getting deployed. I have to fly to Burmingham on the 15th and will be processed on the 16th. I am told that I will find out at that time if I will be cross leveled into a unit that awaits deployment. My wife and I have been trying have a baby. She turns 44 this year and is afraid that the longer we wait the harder it will be. I enlisted to get my student loans paid and to go back to school which I am currently doing. I am a graduate student in the couseling program at Palm Beach Atlantic University. I knew when I enlisted that deployment was a possibility but belived (and still do) that it was the way God made for me to continue with my education. In three years, provided that things settle down in the Middle East, I can enter the IRR, (if it still exists) and be inactive my last 2 years. We also have a son that will be 2 in April and I have a daugher from a previous marriage who will be 11 in April. My biggest fear is them being without me. We live in Florida and are told that the hurricanes will continue. My wife cannot put the hurricane shutters up by herself especially while watching a 2 year old. I guess I'll have to trust God to look out for them since I won't be able to. Anyways I better stop rambling. I do belive that God is in control even of this situation regardless what it is decided on the 16th and I know that all will see how great is our God!
