It was Just Reach Out. One of my wife's favs. Everytime I've emailed Bob he has emailed me back; I'd have to admit though his responses are usually no longer than one sentence.

I think Bob is a man a few words and I think there is too much reading into this senerio.

Yeah I think that Bob is a very quiet person and He just answer what we ask him. I stayed with them 7 days and we were at the same car, same hotel etc... and I couldnt listen his voice unless we ask something or when he asks something for us, but John He is awesome He is very talkative person, I remember that I was talking in Portuguese with the driver and He said hey I agree with you Hahahahaa but that's because he wanted us to talk in english...
I think Bob will never say anything in public about anyone I can be wrong because we can never say never but it's difficult to listen it from Him.

Petra had a web page up a few years ago (not sure how long or even if it is still around) and in the discography where Bob commented on each album. He does mention John a couple times.

For example on "Back To The Street" he talked about how John's voice was still "raw" at the recording of the album. Speaking of interviewing. I wonder what was going thru John's mind when he interviewed with petra. For example.. Did he realize the popularity of petra at the time going in, and the shoes he would have to fill?

I also remember Bob saying (not sure if this was on the web page) something about on the "Back To The Street" tour about handing over the "frontman" responsibilities to John and how he eventually took to it. "frontman" being talking, witnessing, etc.

FWIW I don't ever recall Bob saying much about Greg X volz either. He just struck me as a person of few words, unless directly spoken too.
