Redemption is a cool album. It could have used some heavy tunes, but I get why it doesn't go there. It's a reflection of the 3 band members, as pictured on the cover. Basically, songs they could pull off with a fill in drummer and bass player.
I liked the songs on Inside, but it's a tough disc to get into. Curb would have been better off to let Whiteheart produce. If they really thought they could gain a vast new audience by bringing in a producer to shake things up, well that was just dumb. They probably alienating some of teh fan base because Whiteheart had a good thing going and they wrecked it quick.
'Find A Way' is one of my faves from that album. If you have been to the website: neverlost.us, you know that there is a whole album of songs from Billy Smiley featuring several past whiteheart members. Ric Florian does some vocals. One of the songs on the album is a remake of 'Find A Way', done essentially they way it would have been done the first time around if Whiteheart had more control over the album.

Well hopefully this wont turn into an all out war like another thread. But the story is florian went thru a divorce around the time of Inside. Mark talked him into doing Redemption because he thoght it was important they do it together. So that whole album pretty much reflects their mental state of mind at the time.

I was not really expecting a blown out White Heart album, but more an internal reflection which is exactly what Redemption is. I like it alot for that reason.

Yeah I do not know what they were thinking with Inside. White Heart was running full steam all cylinders cranking with "Highlands" and then they pull on some bozo producer who reportedly only listened to "Highlands" before train wrecking them.

He should have, at the very least, listened to Freedom as well. One album does not even come close to reflecting what White Heart was capable of. I'll have to snag that bill smiley album sometime. I think I saw it in a Christian bookstore recently.
