Does John do any Petra songs at his solo concerts?

Absolutely!!!!!!

We played a variety of Petra songs and were probably Responsible for Petra bringing back I am on the rock to the medly. John told us that after playing the song with us he told Bob they had to bring the song back!

Because Petra wasn't doing many shows at the time, we played Jekyl and Hyde in the US before Petra did! Here's a list of Petra songs we did.

Beyond Belief
I am on the Rock
Underneath the Blood
I waited
Show your power
Lord I lift your name
Amazing Grace
The noise we make
Jekyl and Hyde
No Doubt
He came He saw He conquered

There were allot more that we had ready, but we had to do some of his solo stuff too.

These are all I can think of right now.

I saw John Schlitt solo in Fort Dodge, IA, back when UNFIT FOR SWINE had just been released. This was before he had his band...he sang live to a backing track. Schlitt did songs from both solo albums (SHAKE and UFS), plus he did "Beyond Belief".

My then-wife and I got to meet him after the show...every time I've met him, John is cordial, polite, and appreciative of his fans.

If Schlitt goes on tour for his 3rd solo CD, and he hits anywhere in Iowa...I AM THERE! Hey, I drove 2 1/2 hours to Waterloo, IA to see Petra on the farewell tour.

During the UFS Tour in Arlington, TX. John sang all ten songs from UFS and 6 songs from Shake. He did not do any Petra songs. Looking back at the pics I have of the show, Pete Orta and Kevin BRandow where two of his band mates at the time. A few months later the both joined Petra.

Like Enosh said, with or without Andband - John does both solo and Petra tunes in concert.

It's one of my fav's too. So if it was us, "Your welcome."

The first time we played with John we were all excited to play it because I had come up with a really cool ending to it. He wasn't ready to sing the song that night but just cou;dn't believe that song rocked so much!! John was like, "Wow, we got to do that song again." We also played Underneath the Blood complete with talkbox. John said he told Bob they should bring that back, but I guess he didn't want to have to mess with the talk box. haha
