WOO-HOO! I just downloaded like three dozen rare Steve Taylor tracks!
(I've been trying to find that Continentals album with "Nero" on it for years!)

Continentals
Oh my, what a blast from the past! My brother toured with the Continentals as their drummer. I remember that song "Nero"---they all donned sunglasses when they sang it. LOL I remember thinking that was so cool back then.(I've been trying to find that Continentals album with "Nero" on it for years!)

Neat little story about Steve Taylor.
I was at a concert of his with my churches teen group. Well an album that a friend of mine purchased just "dissapeared". I mentioned it to Steve. He was nice enough to give us another copy.
I have the "I Wanna Be A Clone" LP with his signature on the LP label itself.

Long-VIEW!!!
My only brush with fame on Steve Taylor is that I was at the concert in Longview, TX on the tour that was recorded for "Liver." If you listen to the open you can hear him say "Long-VIEWW!!!" I was there, man! hehe

I think the guy is brilliant, and for the type of songs he writes the music fits perfectly. There is more to song writing then music talent (if that makes anysense). There are alot of good "technical" players out there..
