I found this kinda funny!

Given the heated debates on the Zone regarding Amy Grant and the recent flood of Live albums, I found this email I received kinda funny in their wording of how it is an outreach to the lost...

More Information

Be a part of this once in a lifetime event as Amy Grant and her band come to beautiful Bass Hall to record a live CD and DVD. Take a trip through history...with a night of music that has been the backdrop for a generation. "FATHER'S EYES" - "BABY, BABY" - "ROCK of AGES" - and everything in between! You do not want to miss this inspiring, truly momentous occasion.

Consider buying tickets for your unchurched friends to attend this event for free.
It is a form of outreach that could change their lives, and it could be the
most important thing you ever do.

well, if she were to get up on stage and say something to the effect of, "I screwed up royally and set a bad example; this is how we are supposed to live as Christians and I'm striving to do that everyday and set a good example, and be a good witness to my friends and family", then their might be some value to bringing your unsaved friends to the show.
Since there is no guarantee of something like that happening, attend at your own risk.
Then again, if you are attending with friends who have no idea who she is and know nothing about her history, no harm no foul, or something like that.

Ahhh good 'ol Amy Grant.

The persons name who invokes unkind words from people. Saved and unsaved alike.

All I have to say is her current situation certainly gives a whole new meaning to her older songs.

That aside she's long overdue on one anyways but she doesn't really need to be doing her old stuff. Half of that stuff was written by her Ex. Besides they are mostly on the "Age To Age" concert anyways. She need to do "Unguarded" and on.
