Wow! Worth a listen-Hyperstatic Union

Post by Quigon John » Wed May 10, 2006 5:04 pm

Alot of us have lost some interest in the christian music scene for lack of ministry (other than worship music like Chris Tomlin etc.) And the lack of gospel message in the music/lyrics, so I am always skeptical before spending my hard earned money on just any cd. But I took a chance on Hyperstatic Union's debut album which was produced by Mac Powell of Third Day and I was very pleased with my purchase. Let me just say that this band definitely has a heart for Christ and they proclaim it in their music very well. Since I have no more Petra albums to look forward to it is good to know there are still up and coming bands like Hyperstatic Union and consistent bands like Third Day who will carry on the torch.

What do they sound like? I do not like Third Day's sound at all so if they sound anything in that vein I wouldn't be interested. Give us some ideas.
