I remember Christian Okoye, and them calling him the Nigerian Nightmare. But there is nothing nightmarish about my son. He's a handsome guy!

These will include pics of Malachi, my wife and me, and Mary (the lady who has the orphanage from which he was adopted) and her daughters, and the other orphans along with some other pics of Nigerian life. Malachi is doing great and adjusting well. He sleeps through the night and is usually ready for a 2 to 3 hour nap around noon. At first, he wasn't eating too much except for rice. He didn't even eat mac and cheese or McDonald's McNuggets (don't actually blame him on the 2nd one). But he did eat a bunch of mac and cheese the other day with me and is eating more stuff now.

We received Malachi's social security card and permanent residence card in the mail yesterday. I know it may not seem too exciting to most of you, but after waiting two years for him to come home, everything excites us.

really, and yes is exciting for us, though i have never adopted a baby or anything i can really understand and feel your joy, seriously, receive a huge hug from me and again, Malachi is the most beautiful chocolate i have ever seen
