John & Bob Photos Wanted

Post by sue d. » Tue Jun 20, 2006 9:29 pm

Does anyone have any EXTREMELY GOOD quality photos of John and Bob together during the acoustic set on the Farewell Tour?

Please let me know... I'm searching for just the right photo to use for a poster, and nothing I have on John's site fits the bill...

Sue,

I bought my wife a real nice Konica Minolta with the anti-shake a few months before the show. Was about $1,300 at the time. I know she got some great pics in Dawsonville that I kept meaning to send you. She could make one of John's nostriles fill the whole frame clear as day if she wanted to. She's asleep but I'll find out in the morning what she has.

Don't have a web-site so I'll have to just send you a disk.

I like Tom's from the Aucoustic set.

Trodlan's is a good image, but not what I would put on a poster.

I looked and I got nothin from the acoustic set that is suitable.
But since I have been sitting around moaning about my neck today and unable to really do anything productive, I was thinking about the comp that I would like to see in a poster like this (assuming this is for the john and bob thingy of course) and unilaterally decided on a linear sidelong piece.:P heheh

If you can find a photo that looks something like this
Image
especially the sidelong (profile) angle, it would be like all perfect and stuff. And you know I am right about this as I am always right, just ask JS if you don't believe.

I know my skills are sorely diminished at the moment (it's the neck's fault. Stupid neck)so don't mock.
BTW didn't any of you people post any pictures of John in a decent resolution and not looking weird? That is my second excuse for the lack of quality.
