That's great news that Pastor Mike Reed is interested in having Bob and John come out to Oceanside again. He's done so much for Petra and the fans! Hope it happens.

I hope so too.... it might help if you called Pastor Mike and told him exactly what you posted here.

Hey, if I can get around the money, I'd be willing to travel to see this. I've only seen Petra once, and John Schlitt solo once...
I wanted to see Petra on their Farewell tour but I really couldn't manage to it...

We have three in a row in the Midwest if you want to travel that far... HOPEFULLY a fourth in the works (but I've learned never to hold my breath)

What's it cost to bring them to your town for a show, I would like to see them come to the Dallas/Fort Worth area at least one last time.

If you're asking how much it is costing for MY town - well, since it's NY Eve, I'm paying MORE than anyone else!
Gees.... so much for employee discounts! I think I need to have a talk with these boys! lololol!

Put Buffalo New York on the list -- we are trying to get a date for a hall at University of Buffalo - through the Campus Ministry of our church. We are hoping to have at least 700 people. Thanks Sue for all your help - we will make this happen - PRAISE GOD!

Ah good, a date in the northeast. Let me know what date you get, because I'm tentatively looking at bringing them to my church in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. It would be good to have my date next to yours for the sake of travel.

Sue, got a few questions for you...
I noticed on John's website that he is "tentative" to play a solo date at the GODSTOCK festival. Just wondering that if he played there, about how long would his set be? Would there be any merchandise for sale (CDs, T-shirts, etc.)?
Also, on the Schlitt/Hartman acoustic tour in December...do they have a set list of songs to play yet? Any clues?
Thanks in advance for any answers.

BriGuyPEI & jejac77... if you two can work out a mutually acceptable weekend, it certainly does help with travel costs.
Pears - I always put "tentative" on the calendar until the actual contract comes back to me, signed and deposited. That's the only way that shows are for sure.
I just sent off the contract, so it will probably be a few days at least to get back to me with it.
John would play at 4 p.m., a 45-min. set. He would also speak around 15 mins. at 7:45, right before Big Daddy Weave.
Yes, he'd bring along his CDs and photos to sell (no tshirts yet, but when the new album comes out we'll have something worked up). John will sell just his stuff, though, not Petra's. Bob has the sole rights to that now.
Acoustic Tour: I haven't heard exactly what songs will be on the list, no. I really should find out, just to whet your whistle (and mine - after all, I'm having a show with them also)!
How bizarre is that.... as a booking agent, can I write the contract for my own show and sign it as the promoter at the same time? Do I write a deposit check to myself? lol!

Thank you! I can't really take credit for it, though. I did come up with the basic layout, but Marianne McGuire, one of John's promoters from a show he did with her in May, is the designer.
She also did a version where promoters can download it and put in their own info and print it out.
