I dunno how I missed seeing this yesterday. I knew it was Talk Like A Pirate Day, talked like a pirate myself, and wore me piratey garb. However, I was seriously disheartened by the lack of knowledge and enthusiasm with the people I encountered throughout the day. I even saw a lady wearing a POTC shirt and I asked her if she was wearing it because it was Talk Like A Pirate Day. She had no idea what I was talking about and said that the only reason she was wearing it was because it was the only clean thing she had! :( I should have made the scurvy wench walk the plank! Arrrr!

I don't celebrate Halloween, but I am looking forward to it because we have to dress up for work, so I'll get to wear my pirate outfit all day! Shiver me timbers!

Sorry about that graphic... I should have double-checked whether studio2f.com allowed linking in to their graphics!

Here's a link to their blog post, which contains the picture I MEANT to link to:

By the way, Susannah... I spent most of the day with my Jack Sparrow toy from McD's sitting in my shirt pocket. If I can't TALK like a pirate, then by Davy Jones at least I'll CARRY a pirate along fer the ride! ARRRRR!!!

Those phrases are so overused and yet still seem to remain funny somehow. They're just classic I guess.

The pirate keyboard picture - gosh that was hilarious. I think it needs M, A, T, E, and Y keys though.
