The interview itself has already been taped. I just think the October 19th airing date, is for the states. It may have been aired on an earlier date, on a different station in Australia! Just guessing, of course!

I think John & Dorla are a cute couple. Was nice to hear Dorla talk as I guess some of us have never heard her talk. I noticed they never mentioned "Unfit for swine" hmmmm

Ok Daniel - I see how you found that! Nice little bit of deducting detective work! lol!
NO ONE is safe from a PETHEAD! If there's a file out there - SOMEONE will find it!
It's really not airing until Oct. 19... but I'm downloading as I type! (and I can't remember if my Quicktime works or not... had trouble with it the last time I tried using it - and eventually just gave up on it).

Anyone know how to convert a Quick Time file to Media Player?
As luck would have it, I can't watch this cuz I'm still on ancient Win. 98, and of COURSE I can't watch it at work either, with a Mac 9.something.
AUGH!!!!!
I can at least hear the audio....
My whole life needs an upgrade!

Instead of using Quick Time you should try Videolan.
It's free and it does the job on my computer. Most likely it will work on 98 too. I can recomend it. Actually you also need it to watch some of the files that trodlan hosts on his homepage. You can find it here:

Well, I tried. I downloaded it, added in the
Platform Software Development Kit Redistributable: Microsoft Layer for Unicode on Windows 95, 98, and Me Systems, 1.1.3790.0
just to make sure... and BLAH! I get a Fatal Error while loading unicows.dll.
Figures.

Sorry to hear that. Well, my only advice is to upgrade your computer or buy a new one. My life has become so much better since i upgraded from Win ME to XP. I use my computer a lot, and there is a big difference when it comes to speed and reliability. Well of course that's your own decision.
Hope you find a solution.

I found a solution! whoohoooo!
I put the unicows (what the HECK IS that??) in another folder - and now it works!
THANK YOU, Curt!
and yes... I know I need to upgrade badly. I just don't have the time to figure out what's the best deal and where I should get it.
I have an EVENT and CONCERT to organize! And bookings to do!
I PRAY that after tomorrow I will get alot more calls/emails from viewers & churches who want to bring John & Dorla in. I want my phone to ring off the hook and my inbox to overflow.

Thanks for linking this, danielaussie. Very cool! One can certainly see, after hearing his testimony, how John's past struggles must surely have fed his obvious passion in his singing over all these years.
