From their modest start at a Moberly High School sweethearts' dance a half-century ago, the Kats have graced Midwestern bandstands nearly 4,000 times. Lead singer and guitarist Lee Dresser spent more than a decade as a session player and songwriter in Los Angeles and Nashville.
