Seriously, though - now that Vertical Expressions is out and being heard, we're looking for Petheads who not only like the album but would love to see John and Bob perform these songs and Petra classics LIVE at their church.

Now that you have a product in hand, and something to show your pastor or leader - why not ask him/her about bringing in II Guys from Petra?

I'm not only talking about a concert - think outside the traditional box. Between the two of them, John and Bob have over 50 years of experience in songwriting, stage presentation, speaking, instrumentation, recording, production, leading worship, not to mention amazing testimonies that can give hope to those who are going through the same type of situations. They can easily put together a seminar on any or all of these topics - and then some.

II Guys' desire is to be accessible and available to the church, which means being willing to work with your budget in order to make things affordable. Now that Petra is retired, the Guys want to continue to do what the Lord has called them to do with the same focus as Petra has always had: Jesus is Lord and salvation is only through Him.

Think about the possibilities that may work within your OWN church, and take the next step in approaching your pastor about what II Guys could do for your congregation.

I can attest that John and Bob were awesome! They did the concert at the University of Buffalo on Saturday Night, which was beyond belief (sorry, I couldn't resist) and then the next morning they led worship at our 9:15 and 11 AM services. These were "traditional services" and they led every musical portion of the service. At the place where the congregation would normally stand and say the Nicene Creed, instead John and Bob sang "CREED."
One of our Rector's favorites is "Lovely Lord" and they practiced it and had it ready for our time of Communion.
We were so blessed to have John and Bob at St. Bartholomew's! People are still talking about it.
And then there is John and Bob. They are so real and down to earth - and professional. I was worried about making sure that they were happy - while they were wanting to make sure that they did their best for us - and for the Lord. It was an unforgettable experience - and I STRONGLY SUGGEST that if you are thinking at all about having them come to your church -- that you speak to Sue- NOW. Take a step of faith and do it. It will be a remarkable time - that will totally bless your congregation.
Verticle Expressions is awesome - but having them sing those songs in your church is pure joy.

That's it in a nutshell.

As a promoter (I started out as a fan with no experience whatsoever), I signed my very first contract for a concert, having never even SEEN a Christian concert except on a Petra video.

My church gave me $300. That was it. I had to find the rest on my own. Sink or swim. And by the grace of God, I SWAM!

Guys, you CAN DO THIS. If the Lord is in it - it can and will happen - with amazing results.
