I don't know if it is one of my favourite tours or not, but I too would love to hear some live audio from the Back to the Street tour. It would be great to hear live versions of You Are I Am, Thankful Heart, Alter Ego, King's Ransom, Fools Gold, and especially one of my all time favourite Petra songs, Whole World. I think they only played that song and many of the others on this tour. I will second this request.

I have an audio recording of the This Means War! tour. It features Back To The Street, Whole World and You Are I Am. It's horrible quality though, so it's not like you wanna listen to it.

Hey Dan, can you share all this stuff you have with Terje?

And what kind of Australia only releases are you talking about? I have these:

VS Beat The System b/w Hollow Eyes 1984 A&M Records / Festival Records K-9626 (Australia release)
VS Beat The System b/w Hollow Eyes 1984 A&M Records / Festival Records K 9626 (New Zealand release)
VS Whole World b/w Shakin' The House 1986 A&M Records K 84 (w/ picture sleeve & competition insert) (Australia release)
MS Beat The System '86 Tour Souvenir EP 1986 Star Song Records / A&M records X 14274 (w/ picture sleeve) (limited edition Australia release)

And some of the albums are also available on vinyl in Europe and Australia (PP1, Beyond Belief, Petra Means Rock, War & Remembrance).

Are there any more special releases I should be looking for?

Daniel, I know some places where you can buy Beyond Belief on LP. There's even one available in Australia. If you need the link, let me know and I can send it to you.

It may not be of interest, but some may wonder why LPs and cassettes were still produced after CDs standardized and killed them off. It comes down to demand in each country. Some countries still sell cassettes primarily for economic and geographic reasons. It would be interesting to compile a list. I bet that there is a ton of VHS being sold somewhere as well.

Christian music stations were late adopters of CD. There weren't many releases initially. So, yes there were some LPs and EPs pressed for radio. But those stopped for the most part by the mid 90s if I recall. What is in question here are records sold in record stores. The record bins in US stores were long gone by then.
