After more than a few delays, I am in the process of putting the finishing touches on the book I am writing about John. One of the chapters has been tentatively titled, "Dear John Letters." I had asked some folks to write a letter to John explaining what his story, his music or his friendship has meant to them. So, if you were one of the folks who I've already heard from, please ignore this.
However, if not, and you would like to write a Dear John letter for possible inclusion in the book, please send me an email with your "letter" and a line that says you give me permission to use it. I am asking that these letters be brief -- no more than 800 words. (If you don’t know how to check, type it in WORD, then go to File – Properties and look at the Statistics tab. It will tell you how many words there are.)
I need to have these letters no later than Friday, Feb 22nd. I doubt I will be able to use every letter, but I will try to make sure every unique aspect of John’s influence is represented.
Thanks and God Bless.

It will be out sometime this year. I know that is a bit vague, but there are a lot of dependencies. My best guess though would be summer.
