I think that would turn out terrible. Scott's voice and John's voice have about zero similarities and Jesse's drumming is more complex than anything Petra ever did.

Anyway, lets steer this back on track to original question.

As for a Stryper song I would cover, I'd probably I'd settle on "Come To The Everlife." Few would consider that the best song ever, and I would be absent from that few.

Stryper never did a song worthy of being covered by Petra.

Stryper never posessed the musical skill necessary to cover a Petra song. Well, maybe "Friends". They couldn't mess that up TOO bad.
