Ignoring the albums from
On Fire to
Wake Up call, what is your favourite CD?
Mine would be No Doubt. Alhough the transition didn't go smoothly to Cooper and Litchens, I loved the transition in the music. The ballads "Sincerely Yours" and "We hold our Hearts out to You" are 2 of my favs. I liked the sound of that album and was sad that God Fixation took them in a complete different direction.
This is one of 2-3 albums I enjoy listening to front to end.
However, to Brent's chagrin, it was aslo the return of the Elfante brothers.

No Doubt is a great album, Lichens was only on the cover for the photo shoot, it's Bob playing... so it's not to far of the "dream team" anyway... then again Bob did most of the guitars on all the albums after wakeup call anyway.

I would have to say Never Say Die is one of my all time favorites outside of the dream team and next to that would be Jekyll & Hyde.

I think it's a toss up between More Power to Ya and Not of This World, but I haven't owned or listened to those albums in a long time.

More Power To Ya is my favorite Petra Album of all time. Other notables that would make the cut for me would be This Means War! and JAH.

What other veggie tales Petra spin offs could there be?
No sprout?
My fav non dream team might be JAH or Fixation. Fixation has Augustine's Pears, a classic Petra song that should have been on farewell!

Great minds think alike.
GOD FIXATION is the most underrated album in Petra's discography.
If I won the lottery, I would pay very good money to host a John Schlitt concert. But one of the clauses in the contract would be for John to perform "St. Augustine's Pears".

If you win the lottery, you are going to tithe on that right? I have started my own mission, so, will you consider sending your tax deductable gift to me? Thanks.

Wow, that's really good. I'm going to be singing that all the time now. Reminds me of the "No doubt John can sell your house" thing a while back.
