Ok. Every year the Crouches get on the air with their Praise-a-thon (which is kind of misnomer actually 'cause we can't praise God and have him throw down money from heaven), to raise money.

First of all, they aren't telling you that Paul makes over $500k annually. Jan makes over $340k. The boys are making six figures. "TBN" owns about six homes across the USA, nice cars, etc. TBN has a closed books policy to even it's donors. THAT should tell you something.

Seondly, Paul is always telling the donors that "YOU own TBN. It is YOUR network, so YOU need to pay for it." He has even gone so far as to say that "If you have been saved as a result of TBN and you have not given to it, God will withdraw his blessing from you." Now, I gave once long ago, so it was mine, right? I have never been allowed to see one of the homes or cars I own, much less stay in or drive one respectively.

Thirdly, it is a documented fact that they held an impromptu Praise-a-thon for an emergency expense. That emergency expense was the same amout paid as "hush money" to a former TBN male employeer, with whom Paul "allegedly" had oralsex with on multiple occassions. The employee signed a contract that he would not say a word. Well, he didn't. He wrote a book about it. So TBN was mad because they gave him the money. Funny thing. They had to explain why they would give a former employee that kind of cash, 'cause he had proof that they gave it.

Kim Clement is a false prophect. More than a few things that he has said have not come to pass. Most of what he has said is similar to what fortune tellers say. It is generalized, without date, measure of success, and etc. Some things that were "prophecied" were current events and bits of news that were public knowledge. He gets people worked up in a trance with his music, he gets into this primal rocking, monotone delivery...it gives me the creeps.

If I were not a Christian now, I would think that God is some man made scheme to prey on the weak minded and make money. But I am a Christian and it all makes me sick. American Christianity is the great Jezebel for sure with these satanic shysters held up as diety.

The church did not ask or need a TV network. God doesn't need it. It is odd that preachers from Crouch on down have spoke against the evil TV, how the devil is the prince of the air, but then they want you to watch it so you can watch THEM and then PAY THEM.

TV is a good way to reach some people that cannot come to church. But really, the church got along fine without it before it was invented. People would build ministries, picking up people that were without transportation, not able to drive, etc. We went to them in person. I know my G-ma back home loves to interact with her other 90 year old Sunday School friends that she has had for 60 years. She would not have had that if someone had not come to help her GO, and if she had just turned on the TV.

We need human interaction. That requires something of both parties. It helps us to care and stay connected. I will bet my soul on the fact that no TV "minister" will call you when you are sick, come bring groceries, etc. They won't come to your funeral (unless you have them in your pocket). THE CHURCH is being replaced by TV in America. Thankfully we have fallen on hard times and maybe Christian TV will die off, eliminating the "mainline" of satanic doctrines to the people too lazy and simple minded to read their own bible.
