No, I meant the police are involved in trying to find out how this happened. Lots of paperwork and such to deal with... not easy when John's in another country already! I've been doing and sending what I can, but there are a few things that HE has and I have no way of getting, like boarding passes and baggage claims.

So we'll see how it all turns out....

That's common.

I have some friends who were missionaries there for 6 years or so. They were constantly being robbed. When they wanted to drive a car, they had to add/remove windshield wipers, wheels, etc because people would just steal them blind. It is everyman for himself there.

It's gonna be like that here soon if we don't watch it.

I didn't say that. All I am saying is that times are tough and people will soon be doing what they have to do to feed their own.

I can understand the sentiment, but we've got a long way to go before our economy is as poor as some of those Eastern European countries. Also, their police forces are extremely corrupt, far more than the US police forces.

Everyday, I wake up, run to the computer, log in to the zone, and then look only for Sue's posts. She is our ray of sunshine, the wing beneath our wings, the lime in our Coronas, the crack in our pipes. If it were not for Sue, I would not own a computer. I would have no need to be connected to the internet.
