Minneapolis Area Concert - anyone going?

Checking to see if anyone here on the Zone is heading over to Farmington for John's concert on Friday - and worship on Sunday?

A few of us are getting together up that way, so if anyone else is in the area - just give a shout!

You guys missed a GREAT time!

The pastor really took care to make a really nice stage presentation, with lights and fog machines. The sound was terrific, and John was in top form. He NAILED the high notes with ease. "Save Me" was put back in the set list, and he sounded as good as he did when I first heard him sing that at my own concert back in 1996. The years have not hurt John at all - in fact, they've only enhanced his vocal ability.

Sunday was a great time of worship, followed by a great pot-luck lunch and a question/answer time with John.

All in all it was a wonderful weekend!

Seriously guys -- if you've ever wanted to bring John to your church -- NOW is the time. We're willing to work within your budget to make it affordable and do-able.

THINK AND PRAY ABOUT IT!
