Johns 4 solo cd

Does anyone have any news on this? Is it still in the recording process or is it a no go? Just checking because, I remember on his web site, little videos with him all excited about it, but haven't heard anything about it sense. Hopefully it will be one more true rock album.

That's exciting to hear about the book. I wonder if it will be an autobiography or something different.

Right - the new CD is on hold at the moment... giving Grafting a new push first.

However, if anyone has any spare change laying around and would like to contribute to the cause, a new SONG could be done right now - dedicated totally to you, the contributor.

A song is in the vicinity of $4000.... it all depends on how it's produced, who is playing on it, studio time, etc. But that's a rough ballpark figure for what John wants to do.

Can't say I have that kind of change laying around in my pocket either, but there ARE folks who DO. I've seen them. I've seen their wallet. I try to be really nice to them.

It's on hold because "The Grafting" is getting a re-boot. John felt it wasn't given a fair chance in the market, found new distributor or something, and they re-launched it.

That's cool. Now that I've received my tax refund, I might be able to pick up a copy of THE GRAFTING.

Also, John mentioned on tour that there's a book project coming.

I'll buy John's autobiography...I think it would be a fascinating read. By the way...what ever happened to calicowriter's book about Schlitt? Just wondering.
