Little bit of both. They really had some good rockers. My Favorite 2 CD's of theirs is Streetlight and To Extremes. To Extremes was their final CD and probably rocked better then anything they did.

Their first release in 1979 was their best album. After that, they evolved to a more pop/rock sound.

Get To Extremes; It really is a great rock album. Carry the Cross and Dangerous Place is probably their 2 greatest rockers of all time.

The Rock Solid Live album is one of my childhood favorites. I'm always on the lookout for a cd version. It was definitely a rocK album. Back then it sort of reminded me of Bruce Springstein and the E street band. After that album I remember they went pretty ccm, with the likes of "The Pledge" and "Go to the Top." Still some good songs in those albums before they gradually started rocking again. I think someone else nailed it when they said "To Extremes" was the rockingest album.

Sigh, you youngsters who were kiddies in the 80s/early 90s...I was young, I was in my 20s but I wasn't a little kid. I went to several D & K concerts and really liked them, and I have several of their albums.

My local high school where I'm doing my teacher observations for my credential are having a musical called "Back to the 80s". Boy does that make me feel like an old geezer.
