Taca, Shocka, Locka
From the 2003 album: Jerald and Klyde

Life is filled, with to much Barbies,
Won't give up, for another doll,
You give in, to show and telling,
But Your Brother trades, Ken in for another football.

And you cry to your dad,
But in truth dad feels better, his son feels like a man.

Taca, shocka, locka, to the things we regret,
Theres only one thing, that needs to be sead,
Taca, Shocka, Locka, The Things that annoy
When they find us, with a brand new toy,
Taca, Shocka, locka, for a brand new day,
but now that you, threw your arm away,
Taca, Shocka, Locka, sister knows you're sacked,
And when she comes in, you find she brought Ken Doll Back.

Do you go and change song lyrics when you get bored and have nothing else to do, LOL? I saw those on the Inpop board awhile back too, they are pretty clever. :) I would love to know what Bob thinks of them. :D

________________________________________________________

The Fox Hole
From the 1986 recording Backup the Bowles

Another day of constipation - theres a battle in my head
Its not a matter of going - Ill go anywhere but my bed
But my mind keeps changing every pain
I need your ex-lax to point the way.

Then the fox comes out of the fox hole / and its not pretty dont you know
My steps are few but far between on the way / Ill get there by the end of the day/
Ill get there by the end of the day

Sometimes I feel a hesitation its only trying to push thru
I dont need the irritation - I think I need some crazy glue
Its not hard to go any other day I have nothing else to say

I dont want to be strong / Im giving up this fight
It gets dark and all I see is a haze / suddenly theres a fart and no more wait

I guess this would be a good place to post my parody of DC Talk's "Jesus Freak" (at this point, I only have the chorus figured out):

Athlete's Feet

What will people think when they hear that I have athlete's feet,
What will people do when I take off my shoe,
I don't give a care if they smell my nasty stinky feet,
Cuz there ain't no disguising the smell

Hey

As a matter of fact, the best place for dctalk parody would be over at the boards at dctalksolo.com. But here is a tip, always try to rhime your lyrics.........so I would put in........"There ain't no disguising the fumes"

But that's a little to modest for my taste...lol

GRRRRRRRRRR STEPHEN!!!!!! 8)

Now you sound like my classmates in the composition class. We suppose to write a poem per week and then the teacher makes copies for all of us and then we suppose to critic (is that correct?) the text.
LOLOL, PLEASEEEEEE, NO MORE.

new song

Post by bakersfieldpethead » Tue Mar 23, 2004 7:25 am

Following the overwhelming response from the previous songs, and excitement from the last song that was posted, a new song is now available.

Good Shoes (short version)
From the 1993 album Wake-Up Call is at 5:30

Its just the same thing, going both ways
I have to walk in these shoes everyday
Another walk, theres a store up ahead
I think Ill buy a new pare of shoes instead

I can see that my lifes on the go
Cant go as fast if I ware out the soul
Get ready my feets on a date
I got some Nikes with automatic inflate

Good Shoes
You can walk the whole distance
In Good Shoes
Without the road resistance
Good Shoes
My feet feel brand new
I Got Good Shoes
And theres no doubt about it
With these I can never lose
