My first Petra album was Never Say Die....... on 8-track cassette. One of the songs was cut into two parts. Thank goodness they phased those things out. I still love the sound of old vinyls though. They will always be my favorite.

I think Petra should use CD Baby, one of the best indie music stores on the internet. Peace and goodwill.

It reminds me of what's going on with Stryper right now though. Their new CD is done, but they are holding off on releasing it until after the new year, because apparently there is a certain time you need to get something released by in order to get the best sales through the holiday season and they missed it, so now they are just waiting until after the new year. I don't know if that factors in for Petra here or not, but I know it's the reason Stryper is using.
Maybe Stryper's cd is delayed because they recorded satanic music. 8)
Actually:
1. They are waiting for the album artwork to be finished: It's a very intricate "graphic novel" CD booklet that's being created.
2. They just signed with new management, Union Entertainment Group, the same company that manages Thousand Foot Krutch, Pillar, and Red as well as secular bands like Nickelback, Hinder, Default, Candlebox, Cinderella, Mr. Big.

Right on. But Petra couldn't get in with someone like this before they retired.

Proffesionaly finished Cds, with all the regular packing and liner notes, and more live pictures from the past. Actually I think the CD sounds different to the download for the Website.

right on. So they have the CDs finished, they might be waiting for a major release during the 1st of the year so the DVD will be released at the same time.

It might, after all we downloaded MP3 files, different than a cd.
