Unless you read Portugese (or are just nosy and use a translator like me), you may not know that Petra has had some problems in Brazil. They had some passport/visa issues and had to cancel a show or two. I just noticed that a new post this morning saying that the Brazilian promoter told them that Petra will come back in Feburary or March and that this show will be the last of their career.

Hmmm...it makes one wonder if they are staying together that long, and the release of the DVD is around the same time (March), could they be talked into one last US concert, perhaps with a release party? It would make for great promotion for the DVD.

I have been hearing about problems in Brazil also.... how sad for those who didn't get to see the concert in their town.

It would be so totally cool to have a DVD release party; I would find some way to make it to that. Just please don't make it during the week.
I would even go if Petra wasn't there to get to spend a little time with some Petheads.

It's a shame they've had so much trouble in Brazil; things can get crazy sometimes when you're putting concerts together. I hope everything else goes smoothly.

I know I've said it here in the past but my church tried to book Petra this November, but were told they were booked up and had no more open dates. Wayne told our church rep to call back in mid/late Janruary to see if they could get the date in the spring. The church Rep. said that it would work out better anyways for the church so he would call back in Janruary. So what I am trying to say is why is Wayne still talking about available dates in the spring for Petra if they are officially retired in 2005? On another note I noticed in the insert for "Farewell" that the booking agent info is still in there for concert dates. Read into what you want, but is Petra really retiring or what?

Ok...I vote Sue's house....call John...have him do a solo concert on the front lawn. Have a big BBQ and watch the DVD! Sounds like a plan!:)

Bob's house doesn't have much of a front yard. No good.

JOHN'S house does, though. We could all pile onto his front yard and let the hills echo away... kinda like the Sound of Music.

We may have to use the back lawn, though - more space.

Actually, there is a HUGE field in the back behind my property - we could have our own mini-Woodstock.... or rather, Petstock.

I vote for Sues house too LOL, Bob doesnt know me so he wouldnt let me spend the night there hahahahahaha.

Though i would like to know Johns house mmmmmmmmmmmmm tough decision.

we are so funny we plan this and John doesnt know that his house is one of our options LOL.

I agree with shell, if we do this, it would be easier to get it done on a weekend. Now I gotta behave and not missing work for a single day so I can get a permission next year. after the two travels I made (and the second one i didnt ask for permission) i got in troubles.
