This really hacks me off. I hear people say this all the time, "America IS a democracy". FALSE! We are a REPUBLIC. Check the Constitution, the pledge of allegiance to the country and the flag, check the Battle Hymn of the Republic, the fact that no state could join the union unless it was a Republic, etc, etc. We PRACTICE democracy. That is very different.

Oh, he definitely believes it.

Brent, you understand that we agree, right? I wasn't sure based on your response whether you were ranting in general or at me. Because I was being serious about not living in a democracy. The video was all about how bad it is that we live in one.
