Interesting topic- Crystavox- I don't often think of them. What's your favorite song by them? Your opinion?

I love Come Home

I think I need to listen to more of their stuff though, for sure. I bet they've got some pretty good records!

He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing
shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.

Diehard- you are truly a force of nostalgia! You are discovering and asking things as if it was the 1990's again :) I really enjoy the comments and insight coming from a young person as they discover the era of 80's and 90's christian rock. That being said I can remember the day I purchased the Crystavox CD. I was a college student and I'd discovered one of the pawn shops in town had just about every Alarma, Frontline, Forefront, Word, Star Song and you name it Christian label cds in a bin. selling them in new condition for $3 each. Keep in mind this was back in the days when Family Bookstore would sell a compact disc for $16. I bought a bunch of great music back then, and I bought Crystavox, too. Man, I really wanted to like them but there was not one single track that was memorable. Add them to the "bands that maybe should not have been signed" list for me.

2) Arlen Salte
3) Vengeance Rising
4) Crystavox

Well I'll take what you said first as a complement I guess!
But what's wrong with them? I like his voice, Shame is also a really great song. Break down the wall. :)
I wish I had that shop! 8)
