So, my dad always told me his favorite band is a Christian band called Petra that was big in the 80's. He would tell this story of how he met the band when they played a concert at his college. He talked about meeting the members Petra in a lot of detail and would tell it at least three times a year.
Anyway he once mentioned in passing that his favorite song of all time is Petra's "Grave Robber" and I remembered this. His birthday was recent and I bout a vinyl record copy of This Means War which has his favorite song on it. When he played it for the first time on my turn table, he stared off into the distance and just nodded his head and smiled. It was really heartwarming to see him listen to it. He seemed to be vividly remembering his youth.
I wanted to share this story with people that'd appreciate it. I can't express how good it was to see him so happy and thinking back to his younger years.
A happy Petra story
