Missing Persons band

Post by yamasaaaki har har » Sat Apr 28, 2007 2:44 pm

Anyone here ever heard of the band Missing Persons? I think they are one of the best 80's rock bands ever but hardly anyone knows about them. They made 3 albums in the 80's and my favorite is probably Color in Your Life. I never heard about them until just this year.

A friend of mine was gaga about them when I was in college... he had the greatest hits CD. I love their stuff!

The Best

This is the one: The Best of Missing Persons

I actually try to remember to look for their CDs in used CD shops and stuff, but I've never seen any. I've got to remember them when I go.

I strongly recommend all three of their albums

Spring Session M
Rhyme and Reason
Color in Your Life

but unfortunately they are sold for ridiculously high prices on Amazon, since they are rare and out of print. Good luck finding them cheaper somehow. I doubt you'll find them at stores.

All 10 songs on the hit compilation are awesome, but to my opinion, almost every Missing Persons song is a hit, and definitely worth listening to.

Do you have the compilation with 10 songs or the one with 15 songs?

compilation

Sadly, I don't have it myself. I borrowed it from a friend for like a year when I was in school... believe it or not, he got the CD for Christmas or something, and he didn't have a CD player! (Yes, I'm old.) So it's been maybe 15 years since I've heard the whole CD. I don't remember it being extra-long, so it might well have been the 10-song version.
